Free modern furniture 3D models: chairs, lamps, a sofa and products in GLB and USDZ
The free Modern Home & Products pack: 25 clean, unbranded models of furniture, lamps, a fridge-freezer, a sneaker and a backpack, at true scale and ready for AR.

Most free furniture models online are either low-poly game art or one-off uploads in mixed sizes and styles. The Modern Home & Products pack is the opposite: 25 clean, modern, unbranded models built to one scale and one look, so they sit together in a room, a product shot or an AR scene. It is also what an online shop gets from Sleipner, so it doubles as a sample of our product work.

Why true scale matters here
Every model is built in metres with its base on the ground. The oak dining chair is 76 cm tall, the linen sofa 1.93 m wide, the fridge-freezer 1.83 m tall, the sneaker 27 cm long. That is what you want for:
- AR. On a phone, "View in your space" puts the model in the room at the size in the file. A chair at the wrong scale is the first thing a shopper notices.
- Interior renders. If every piece is at true size, you place them and the room is right. Scaling by eye is where rooms start to look odd.
- Product mock-ups. The sneaker and the backpack are good stand-ins for layout work before a real product's model exists.

Variants: the same shape, a new surface
Thirteen of the 25 models are variants: the tripod floor lamp in oak, walnut and black, the vase in three glazes, and so on. Each is made by changing only the surface of the first model, so the mesh is identical. In a scene, that means you can swap a lamp's finish without moving or re-lighting anything.
You can do the same with your own words. Change any library model ("make the sofa dark green velvet") and you get a new object with the same shape for 50 credits. New accounts get 600 free during the launch (until 2026-12-31), 400 after. More in changing a 3D model with words.

Formats and detail
Each model comes as GLB, glTF, FBX, USDZ, Blend and OBJ, at a standard level of about 50,000 triangles (the fridge and the Windsor chair are about 100,000) and a low level at a quarter of that. For the web and Android AR, use the GLB; for iPhone AR Quick Look, the USDZ; for Blender, the Blend with its textures packed in. Signed in, you can download the whole pack as one zip per format from the pack page.
For renders, see 3D furniture for interior renders.
Questions
Are these models free for commercial use?
Yes. They are free to download with a Sleipner account, and the library licence allows royalty-free use in personal and commercial work with no credit needed. It has three rules: don't resell or re-share the models as models, don't claim you made them, and don't train AI on them.
Can I put these models on my own shop's product pages?
They are generic, unbranded products, so they won't match what you sell. They are useful for testing a theme's 3D viewer and AR before your real product models exist. Photo-accurate models of your own products are planned.
Do the lamps light up?
No: they are models, not light sources. Add a light in your engine or renderer inside the shade. The brass ship lantern in the medieval pack is the one library model with a light flicker clip.
Will there be more modern furniture?
Yes. The pack grows in variants first (they keep the shape, so they can't add new faults) and in new designs when they pass review. Tell us what you need at [email protected].
